Tuesday the 20th of March saw Mrs Jones Cafe hosting a spectacluar High Tea for the “Taste Great Southern 2012″.
Guest speaker Sophie Zalokar, accomplished chef & author spoke of the origins & traditions of High Tea and how different interpretations, over time, have now shaped this modern day, trendy event.
A modern day Trend
Mrs Jones Cafe owner & chef Alison Osborne & her fabulous staff dazzled the guests with colourful and decadent tiers of Macarons, Tartlets, Scones, Eclairs & Cupcakes, complimented with savoury gormet sandwiches as well as “Burch Family Wines” Sparkling White & Rose.
